Non-profit activities

I've been involved in various non-profit activities with italian and international associations and NGO.

Since 2008 I've contributed to the activities of ASSEFA Alessandria, and Indian-based NGO (Association for Sarva SEva FArms) active on long-distance education and rural support projects. I have been three times in Tamil Nadu to meet the sponsored children and visit the projects. A photographic report of the three travels can be seen here, here and here. After my first trip in 2008 I realized a 20 minutes video, to provide a testimony of the journey and to serve as support to fundraising activities.

In the past I've been involved in Mitava, a decentralized cooperation programme in Lichinga, in Northern Mozambique, led by the late prof. Roberto Nani. In 2006, together with other four students, I visited the projects under development and realized photo and video material to support the fundraising program in Italy; some of the photos can be seen here. Some photos have been used, together with stories by Roberto and his friends, to create the book Dona Ana. The second edition was presented by Bruno Soro in February 2015 in Alessandria; a short extract of the presentation can be seen here.

In the years 2008/2010 I've been a Scout Leader in the Torino 1 group, within the AGESCI (Italian Association of Catholic Scouts and Guides), the association which I joined in 1995 in the Alessandria 1 group.

Other past involvments include OFTAL, with whom I participated in three pilgrimages to Lourdes from 2004 to 2006, volunteering in service of the sick, and Croce Rossa Italiana, where I contributed to organize activities of promotion of the blood donations.
